2007: the year that was

This post is kinda late already but i'm going to write it anyway. At least before February comes, by then it's going to be way too late already :P

So, 2007, 'twas just a fair year. I took another leap of responsibility at work. I'm really not sure if it's worth all the while. Maybe it is. I did a lot of out of town trips with friends/colleagues. I went to Bantayan Island twice, went back to Bohol, went to Boracay and Sumilon Island. I recalled 2004 was more like 2007. Lots of wonderful memories to hold dear. :)

I have gone to personal blogging to paid blogging. While it's kind of tiring and mind bugling sometimes, it will pay off in the end.

I bid goodbye to a few former officemates and said hello to a lot of new ones. It's nice to see new faces, then again, it enkindles the warmth of the past and causes me to miss all the more the old buddies.

I hope i had been a good employee, friend, daughter and sister. I made mistakes, wronged others maybe but know that i am deeply sorry.

For 2008, all i could wish is a better brighter future ahead of me. I hope to have a more definite course and way of life to lead. To be able to prioritize the important things over the not too significant ones.

i want to go to boracay again!

I saw last night the online photos of my friend Phoebe - photos taken from Boracay. Of course the photos looked great. It made me realize how i wanted so much to go back there again. I didn't get enough of Bora last time. I should be back. I didn't get the chance to roam around the whole length of the beach. I didn't have much pictures! LOL! :D Well, hopefully i can go there once again.

I think the peso fare promo by Cebu Pacific is cool. It will allow more people to have the chance to travel and go to different places. Well, travelling by plane is costly over sea trips but at least the peso fare promo gets you to your destination faster at a lesser price. I should be reporting back to work on Monday yet. But i've decided that i'll get back to work tomorrow already so i could save up more vacation leaves and use it later. So, to make the most of my last day off for the holiday break, I went to Colon again. (again coz most of the time i was in Colon hehe) I was kind of surprise to see that the department stores weren't crowded anymore. If last week i could hardly see a cashier with less than 10 people in line. Earlier was the exact opposite because almost all cashiers were bored doing nothing. LOL! Well, people must have spent all their fortunes already during the holidays...

Whew! Amidst the busy christmas rush in the air, I was off from work yesterday. I went to Sumilon Island with friends. Yes, it's December and beach outing for me knows no month or season! hehe! Sumilon is located in Oslob, south of Cebu. I had fun. It could have been greater if it's summer. Anyways, i'll post photos later.

I hope to wake up early tomorrow so i could pay a visit to my friend and my goddaughter. christmas parties '07

2 days and it's Christmas! Here in the office, we usually have 3 christmas parties. We are party animals! LOL! :P

1. Department Party - held last Dec 01 at Krua Thai in BTC. Yup, that early because our senior manager will be leaving the country after that day then. (huh! giagad gyud noh?)

2. Validation Section Party - our section party held last Dec 08. Quite different because we had a sort of an outreach program. We had the party with the kids in Mount Tabor in Talamban. (gabinuutan tahay mih)

3. Company Party - held last Dec 14 in CICC (Cebu International Convention Center). Don't ask me about the place because it's way too far from what i expected. It isn't as grand as i thought it is.
