Gifts are even more appreciated when you know it's given much thought by the bestower. For my birthday this year, a friend gave me a personalized cap. Another one gave me a personalized bathrobe. All of the other gifts were equally personalized knowing that it's my favorite color or they're my favorite stuff. I actually have other personalized things of my own too. I bought last year a mug that has my name printed on it. Then Christmas of last year, my group in the office had personalized pens for our Christmas gifts. Oh wait, i have keychains which bear my name also! This would probably explain why i get so attached to my little novelty collections.

babies and baptisms
Every now and then, i receive baptismal invitations from friends and old classmates. Seems like everyone is having a baby! Geez! Am i left out? Last Sunday was the baptism of Berna's (college friend) baby. I wasn't really feeling well so i was not able to attend to the said occassion. She did not tell me beforehand that i was one of the godparents. It's just yesterday that she informed me through text that i was supposed to be a godparent if i came early. Huh!? I would have attended no matter what if i knew it. Anyways, whichever the case is, Berna's about to kill me! :P I missed her wedding and i missed her first baby's baptism. I hope i can make it to the first birthday party. :) You know what, it's always a dilemma for me when it comes to choosing what to give as presents. More often than not, i end up giving baby clothes or dresses. My godkids, don't worry, i'll try harder to think of other gifts to give next time.

my personalized sign :)
I work in an environment where the use of electronic or test tools is very high. Yet, we don't have the ample amount of these tools when the time comes that everyone has to use one. Too ideal but we should probably have one each. Then again, that's quite impossible considering how costly one item costs. It's very annoying when you arrive in the morning to discover that your test set-up is lacking this and that equipment. It is time consuming too look around and see if there's another available tool to use. To avoid the hassles, i made up a sign that stays put whether i have a testing or not. See below...
o di ba? the cuttest sign there is! heheh!
The cute mickey mouse holder was a gift given to me by my friend Belle when i went to California. My remembrance from Disneyland - all courtesy of Belle. I'm really a lucky fellow when it comes to friends. Don't you think? :P
