Lovers

For the last couple of days, i've been hooked up to another Koreanovela entitled Lovers. It's starred by one of my favorite Korean actresses, Kim Jung Eun. She also starred the hit series Lovers in Paris and Princess Lulu. Producer of Lovers is also the producer of Lovers in Paris and Lovers in Prague. I think Lovers is the last to the three series shoot outside Korea.

When i saw the commercial that it will be aired on local channel tv, i immediately look for a dvd copy of this series. And so i did find a copy and so is the start of my sleepless nights which just ended last Saturday. As usual, i kept on laughing and crying while watching the series. The subtitle wasn't really good but i managed to hang on to the show 'till the last episode. Vivian (from her character in Lovers in Paris) never ceases to make me attached to her characters, lol!

Kim Jung Eun a.k.a Jackie when dubbed in Filipino

Lee Seo-jin a.k.a Jared when dubbed in Filipino

I'm not good in narrating but if you're a Koreanovela fanatic like me, be sure not to miss Lovers. Basta, kilig nga makahilak nga ambot nga funny sab! :D Photos taken from http://global.sbs.co.kr/

P.S. Lee Seo-jin is officially one of my Korean 'fafas'! :P He's really not that good looking (at least for me) but when you get to see him in the series. You'll definitely fall for him! He has a nice physique and like almost all Korean male actors, he has the skin and fingernails that's so nice, much more like of a woman's.

"Why do we love?
Because it is the only great gift that we could give for free."

I got this quote from a colleague via SMS.

And i couldn't agree more.

New York

New York is one of the American states i dream of visiting one day. Here are some fast facts about New York city. It is the largest city in New York State and in the United States, located in southeastern New York at the mouth of the Hudson river and is a major financial and cultural center. Even before the famous tv series starred by Sarah Jessica Parker which showcases New York was aired, I have always been interested to this chic city. I should have been there last 2004 but there were changes of plans. My friends went there anyway. I wonder how they managed to roam around this beautiful city. If i'll get another chance to visit the United States, i would definitely seek assitance from CitySights NY. I bet that for all of your New York tours and sightseeing, they'll offer you only the best. CitySights NY is New York's recognized leader in sightseeing. Their hop-on, hop-off bus tours are operated on a fleet of new double-decker buses designed with top-deck-only seating to provide you with the best possible views of New York City’s attractions, neighborhoods and places of interest. Booking is easy as you can just book online. Should you need any help, an online customer service is readily available to chat with you. Make the most of your New York tours so book with them now.

beneath the pale moonlight

Last April 19 after our family day in Maribago Bluewaters, two of my friends and I proceeded to Portofino. Glorie went swimming while i was lying on the sand waiting for Charo. I stared upwards and noticed that the moon seemed to be smiling at me. It's as if the moon is to fall, it would land on my face! I grabbed my mobile phone and took a picture. The resort guard suddenly approached me. He asked, "maam do you have a room? we close at 10:00pm." Subtly, he just wanted us out. So my quiet talk with the moon ended.

"Fate is building a bridge of chance for someone you love."

Aww! How nice is that? :P

I saw this quote from a colleague's signature. I was quite astonished. A male officemate actually used this one on his signature. I asked him where he got it? He said he got it from the Korean movie entitled My Sassy Girl. How can i not remember it? Sassy Girl is one of my favorite Korean movies. Now i'm more than eager to watch this movie again and see which part the line is being delivered.

sa una diay?

I just opened my friendster account and read a message from a highschool classmate. Her subject line was "Hi lany sweet! Gwapa naman kaayo ka dhay!".

My first reaction was - huh!?? sa una diay? dili ko gwapa!!?

Then i reread the line a couple more times. Then i laughed. I realized that it says "naman kaayo", therefore, gwapa nako sa una pa lang, nisamot lang ron! Wahahahaha!!!!!!!! :D baga!

Ani ning resulta sa wala'y pahinapun... :P

clutter everywhere!

my desk

scattered clothes 'murag ukay-ukay'

Wherever i go, may it be in the office or at home, clutter is there! Last week, we just moved to the new lab. Perfect time for me to clean things up in my desk and cabinets. Sort old files and throw away unnecessary stuff. Whew! It took me almost the whole day to do that. On the weekend, all i did at home was do cleaning too! Sort clothes and arrange. I was pretty tired doing all the tidying huh!

ISO audit

Everyone in the office is cramming especially the managers and supervisors for tomorrow is the ISO/TS 16949:2002 audit. I hope i won't be audited! Tsk! See, I think i really have a major memory problem already. I really was thinking that the audit is at 1:00pm yet. My officemate had to remind me that the audit is at 9:00am. Last Thursday when I woke up, I was thinking of what civilian clothes to wear thinking that it's a friday. Then I realize later that it's still Thursday so i had to wear the office uniform. What's wrong with me? Am i thinking a lot or i'm not thinking at all? Ok, i digress. I should be talking about the ISO audit. Anyways, i just have to write about what i forgot before i forgot to write about it. Heheh.

green day

Green day! No not the artist. Today is supposedly green day here in the office. They are launching the environmental protection campaign thus encouraging everyone to wear green attire. It's a friday so peeps could just wear civilian outfit. Hence, I'm wearing green pants, green pair of shoes and pink golf shirt with green stripes. I'm supportive you know! :D

what i least like in others' blogs

Alright! Alright! The design and content of each blog is according to the discretion of the owner. I know that and I respect that. However, me as a blog hoper and lurker have this thing on others' blog that i kind of don't like.

I really don't like it when the blog doesn't have a picture nor a written profile about the author. Especially if it's a personal blog which is always the case of the blogs i often visit or exchange links with. I mean you read their blogs because you want to connect to their views, experiences, thoughts and rants perhaps but i find it less interesting if i cannot relate who the blogger or owner is. For mysterious reasons, without profiles might be catchy. Others may opt that way for privacy. Either way, I really prefer to read and lurk blogs with profiles especially if i don't know the blogger personally or i just met him/her online for the first time. There are exceptions though - that is when the entries or post are really interesting that i wouldn't mind if i do not know who the author is.

Now you know why i never leave my layout (if i change layout) without my picture! LOL! :D

eyeball with Chikai

This post is the continuation to my previous entry on meeting another Bisdakplanet member.

Glorie and I picked up Chikai and her husband at Pier 6 last April 29 at around 9:00pm. Since it was a bit late, we were left with few choices on where to eat. So we ate our dinner at NeoNeo Grill in Mabolo. We then just toured around the city (Waterfront, Paseo, IT Park, Mango Avenue) for an hour or so. Glorie and I thought that the couple must be tired from the entire boat trip from CDO.

The following night, I invited Chikai to watch the movie When Love Begins but of course she could not leave her husband alone. Well, men don't usually like drama-lovestory movie and Tagalog at that! So, i went ahead and watch the movie with my officemates (planned 2 weeks ahead). Glorie was out busy with her business. I watched the last full show by the way because we did not make it to the 7pm showing. It was too late for a night out for Glorie, Chikai and I. Sorry Chikai for that but we hope you enjoyed your short visit here in Cebu. It was really nice meeting her in person. She is pretty and warm as she is in her blog :)
